This morning in our inbox, a delightfully nondescript image was staring right back at us. The word “TEN” emblazoned across the center; a countdown set to 10 days underneath it. And as the link was clicked by all who received it, there was a giddy, collective squeal heard around the world… because in 10 days, it appears that Girls Aloud will finally tell us what we’ve been longing to hear — that they MAY have some new music to share with us.

But what will it be? A new greatest hits collection? (Please God, no.) A new album entitled “TEN”? (Please God, yes.) An expanded line-up with a total of 10 members? (No, no, no, that’s just ridiculous.)

Until that counter tics zeros across the board, we won’t know. For now, let’s continue to celebrate this news by listening to every one of their songs on a loop, particularly this gem — probably their best song to date…
