Ben Taylor, the son of James Taylor and Carly Simon, has been a staple on the indie folk-rock scene for the last decade. This week he releases his new album, “Listening” — his first in over four years. With the smooth, dulcet vocals of his father and the songwriting skills of his mother, Ben Taylor has  crafted another collection of wonderfully brilliant songs. His first single off the album, “Oh Brother” is an uptempo, bluesy tune — a stretch for the otherwise low key Taylor.
