Consider this one “The Goonies” for kids today. Instead of the beating the wicked Fratellis to the pirate treasure, it’s an alien invasion. And instead of saving Astoria, Oregon, these kids are saving the world.  All the same, “Super 8” is a movie with a lot of heart and would make an excellent gift for someone who enjoys science fiction, action, and a little cinematic style…
