Monocle Magazine’s annual “Quality of Life” issue is on sale now…

Monocle’s July/August issue is here and so is their list of the 25 Best Cities in the World to Live. As expected, the entire issue is thoughtful, eclectic, modern, and informative. And much like last year, I still want to go live in at least 24 of the cities on the list.

This year’s upset? After 3 years stuck in 5th place, Helsinki has taken the top honor as the #1 Best Place to Live this year. Take that, Munich (last year’s champ).

Also featured in this issue is a piece on Montpellier’s innovative start-ups, an examination on the family that is shaking up Sydney’s art scene, and an exploration into how “made in San Francisco” is remaking the city.

This magazine continues to amaze me and is really a such a great find! Check it out.
